We are proud to introduce the Grass Valley Police Foundation (GVPF) — a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created to directly support the mission and members of the Grass Valley Police Department. The Foundation was established to ensure that our officers have the tools, training, and resources they need to serve our community with excellence, professionalism, and deep emphasis on the value and impact of their work.

Our police officers stand ready around the clock to protect the community we call home. They serve with courage and compassion—often in ways unseen but always deeply felt.  The Foundation bridges the gap between public funding and the evolving needs of modern policing, empowering our department to meet challenges with the same dedication our officers show every day.  In addition, the Foundation stands ready in the case of tragedy, an entity pre-positioned to support those who place the lives of others above their own.
